Gone for Good by Harlan Coben her comments about this book were : "Favorite Author!"

The Help by Kathryn Stockett  her comments about this book were : "great book."

She was proud that your dad provided for the family and she greatly depended on him to be there for the family.

Kenzlei Hobbs

So I have the most amazing husband that works his butt off for his family and can't believe in August we have been married 8 yrs!! We look around us at our friends though and lots have either jumped from person to person or have been divorced and or are on Drugs. I'm so thankful I have a great husband that loves his family and is not into drugs and just focuses on his family and has his priorities right. It would just be nice to find friends that have a family and that weren't on drugs to do stuff with.

1.

Busy day

I thought this was a good reflection of how busy her days were and she would push herself beyond measure to get stuff done for her family.

sausage balls are bone for school parties now to wrap a few presents then to the party then to walmart, walgreens and the car dealership then back to make more sausage balls for tonights party and then to my nannys... let the chaos of Christmas began but let us not forget the real meaning of this wonderful holiday the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!!!

What is important in life

Your mother Kenzlei understood what was important in life ..on her facebook post from
January 31, 2012 She shared a story about how poor people live.

One day, a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?” “It was great, Dad.” “Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked. “Oh yeah,” said the son. “So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father. The son answered, “I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden, and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden, and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard, and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on, and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them.” The boy’s father was speechless. Then his son added, “Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are.”

Advice

I thought this summed up her feelings on if someone don't  treat you right , this was posted on her facebook page.

Describing her children in her own words. Aug 25 2011

" On to kids Kealy like I said has started 1st grade she packed her lunch for the 1st time today she was so excited she said today was going to be the best day of her life since she was packing her lunch and going to be the leader today. She has had her first tooth pulled and now getting ready to loose another. She says she is having a hard time making friends at school I feel so bad for her kids are really mean. She still loves make-up her favorite things are dresses and shoes. She also loves bows and like fixing her hair and painting her nails no question about it she is all girl. She is a great big sister to Paislee but her and Blaise fight a lot. She is like a little mommy love her heart. She also wears her heart on her sleeve. I love how she is so girly. On to Blaise he is now 4 wants to be 5 ask every day if he is 5 yet so he can go to school we now make too much for him to go to preschool so he hasn't got to go like kealy did. He absolutely loves the wii and ds. He loves teenage mutant turtles and to watch tv. His favorite food is Peanut butter. He lloves swimming in the pool we got them for outside. He loves to draw and fight with both sisters. lol I love having a boy that is a mommys boy lol. on to Paislee she is now 14 months she isn't saying much either like Blaise didn't. She says bite mommy, daddy, tries to say kealy uh-oh,kitty and things like that loves to point at what she wants she loves animal cookies now. She is so mommys baby she is hooked to my side. I love every moment. She loves baby dolls and stuffed animals and to love on them it is so sweet to see her do it. Her favorite things to do is torture our kitty and put things in a bucket and get them out and put them back. We took her bottle away and she is now on a sippy but she picked the paci back up. Well this is it for now. Hope you enjoy the update."

Being a mom!

The one thing that she loved more than anything is being a mom.

Favorite books

"I absolutely adored this story I didn't want it to end it had a great ending though!! This was posted on her facebook page on Sept 25 2013, I may get this and read it. The title was : A Cowboy takes a Bride.

Random pictures of Kenzlei with her friends.

This is Kenzlei with her friends. What a beautiful smile. she had been to a Mary Kay party and had a great time.

My favorite picture.

This picture was taken 10 years almost to the day that she earned her angel wings, she stayed with us her Uncle Randy and Aunt Tammy the summer before her senior year I absolutely loved this time with her. She was always real good about coming in on time and I always asked her to call if she was going to be late and she always did. ....This is my favorite picture of her.

Always supported her friends.

Well to begin with I've known Kenzlei since I probably was in the first grade. She was a few grades ahead of me but she was always nice and could talk to me. In middle school and some of high school we rode the same school bus home down Yuma Road. That's when our friendship really got good I think. We'd talk about almost everything from home life to boys. After she graduated high school we lost contact. But through a mutual friend we finally was able to catch up. She found out she was pregnant with her youngest Paislee the same time I found out that I was pregnant with my oldest Trinity. That's my best memory really because she helped me. Here I was a first time mom scared to death and Kenzlei would call, text, you name it. She was the only one of my friends that was at my baby shower for my daughter. She said we were prego buddies lol. I think there's about a weeks difference between the two girls. She also was there to see Trinity trick or treat for the first time. I actually caught myself thinking that I was going to see here this past Halloween and was just upset because I miss her. She was a awesome friend and person to anyone who knew her. I just hope when the kids are older they know what an amazing person she was and still will be to all of us that know her.

Yard Sale

One summer, Kenzlei went to yard sales every weekend and sometimes I was lucky enough to tag along, One morning we were headed out and me wanting to know the plan as to what we were going to be looking for ,,, and our conversation went like this:

Me: So Kenzlei what are we going to be looking for today.
Kenzlei: I am going to be looking for socks for Blaise.
Me: My goodness you can get 6 pair of socks for 5.99 at walmart they are not that expensive.
Kenzlei: I know but you can get them for a nickel a pair at a yard sale.  :)

Yes we did find socks that day...loads of them ...and none were over a nickel a pair.

I was blessed beyond measure to have this time with her.

Funny story

So I thought I'd share a funny story with everyone. For Bransons first bday Kenzlei Hobbs got her van stuck in mud. It was important to us that she came to his party so me and Britt Oaks went to help her. We worked for an hour I guess it was using dog food yes dry dog food, sticks, and boxes. Kenzlei got in to back out and dog food and mud flew all over us. We were covered in mud and kenzleis face was priceless. It was so bad I had to take a bath before we could leave lol
