A memory by your Nai Nai
When Kenzlei was young she was very use to people telling her how
adorable and pretty she was every time we went anywhere...she was so use
to it, she actually expected it....one day when leaving the laundry mat
I noticed a mad look on Kenzlei's face...when I asked her what was
wrong she said, "that woman wasn't very nice.." I asked why she said
that...her response was, "well, she didn't tell me I was pretty or
anything!"..to me that was a slap to my forehead moment before I cracked
up. I was reminded of that story today when I took Eva (your moms little dog) to Home Depot
with me...her favorite place...of course every person in the store that
sees her has to pet and talk to her and she just eats it up....then
there was a man that was talking to her and with her tail wagging and
ready to lick him to death he chose not to pet her, but just talk to
her....this was more than she could handle so she decided to growl at
him....(defiantly not her normal) I quickly pushed her away
embarrassed...but after that I just couldn't help but think of Kenzlei and the laundry mat lady.

So I have the most amazing
husband that works his butt off for his family and can't believe in August we
have been married 8 yrs!! We look around us at our friends though and lots have either jumped
from person to person or have been divorced and or are on Drugs. I'm so thankful I have a great husband that loves his
family and is not into drugs and just focuses on his family and has his
priorities right. It would just be nice to find friends that have a family and
that weren't on drugs to do stuff with.
Busy day
I thought this was a good reflection of how busy her days were and she would push herself beyond measure to get stuff done for her family.
sausage balls are bone for
school parties now to wrap a few presents then to the party then to walmart,
walgreens and the car dealership then back to make more sausage balls for
tonights party and then to my nannys... let the chaos of Christmas began but let
us not forget the real meaning of this wonderful holiday the birth of our
savior Jesus Christ!!!
What is important in life
Your mother Kenzlei understood what was important in life ..on her facebook post from
January 31, 2012 She shared a story about how poor people live.
January 31, 2012 She shared a story about how poor people live.
One day, a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a
trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people
live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be
considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father
asked his son, “How was the trip?” “It was great, Dad.” “Did you see how poor
people live?” the father asked. “Oh yeah,” said the son. “So, tell me, what did
you learn from the trip?” asked the father. The son answered, “I saw that we
have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of
our garden, and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in
our garden, and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front
yard, and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live
on, and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve
us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls
around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them.” The
boy’s father was speechless. Then his son added, “Thanks, Dad, for showing me
how poor we are.”
